Sarah Bool MP's letter to Anglian Water

Today, several villages across South Northamptonshire were left without mains water for up to 12 hours during an Amber Heat Warning, a situation that is completely unacceptable.

I have written to Anglian Water demanding urgent answers after residents in Culworth, Sulgrave, Lois Weedon, Thorpe Mandeville and Helmdon were affected.

During extreme heat, access to water is not optional. It is essential, especially for vulnerable residents and older people.

I am deeply concerned that West Northamptonshire Council was reportedly not informed when the crisis began, delaying emergency support and bottled water distribution.
