It was a pleasure to attend the formal opening of Northamptonshire Search and Rescue’s new operational base alongside the Lord-Lieutenant, the High Sheriff and other local dignitaries.
This new HQ marks an important milestone for NSAR, strengthening their ability to support our emergency services and help safeguard vulnerable people across Northamptonshire.
Following their well-deserved King’s Award, this latest achievement is another testament to the dedication, professionalism and commitment of their incredible volunteers. Whether operating drones, conducting foot searches or supporting vital rescue operations, their tireless work makes a real difference to our communities. 
Thank you to everyone at Northamptonshire Search and Rescue for the warm welcome and for everything you do. I look forward to seeing this fantastic new facility being put to great use.
