Yesterday I held my first Farming Forum meeting with 70 plus farmers from across South Northamptonshire - I was delighted to be joined by the NFU and my Rural Crime Police team who passed on helpful advice about security. I also had a message from Victoria Atkins to my farmers in full support
I want all my farmers to know I stand with you - the budget from the Government is disastrous for our rural community and farmers. We must continue to show them why their figures are wrong - the Family Farm Tax must be reversed.
Food security is National Security and we need the Government to support our farmers.
