It was a pleasure to attend the Annual Meeting of Towcester Town Council and see Cllr Maggie Clubley appointed as Town Mayor, alongside Cllr Stewart Tolley as Deputy Mayor.
Maggie has a real passion for our community and am delighted to see she has chosen to support the parent and teacher associations of Towcester’s three primary schools, Friends of Towcester Primary School, Friends of Nichola Hawksmoor School and Friends of Marie Weller Primary School, for her term of office, raising funds to help them provide enrichment and additional resources. Wishing Maggie every success for the year ahead.
I also want to extend my thanks to the outgoing Town Mayor, Rachel Dando L’Olive. She has had an excellent year and was able to raise £2,358 for her chosen charity, Towcester NMPAT who also performed that evening!
