Opposing The Green Hill Solar Farm Proposed Development

The proposed Green Hill Solar Farm is a massive industrial solar utility which would cover over 2,000 acres of farmland and greenfield spaces across Northamptonshire and will particularly impact the villages of Grendon, Easton Maudit and Bozeat in this constituency.  The required Battery Energy Storage System will have a large impact on Grendon along with the underground cabling linking all sites to this.

Whilst I am not opposed to renewable energy, as we do need to have a diverse energy mix, the location and placing of these sources are very important and with Green Hill I am concerned this is the wrong location.  I particularly have concerns around flooding, fire and potential pollution.

I will always continue to work with my residents as this Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project develops and will continue to update residents on my efforts in Westminster in opposition.
