DHL Application in Towcester

The DHL planning application for warehousing in Towcester has understandably garnered much opposition from thousands of residents.  I have been working with Save Towcester Now who have worked phenomenally hard to fight against this application.  The arguments against this particular planning application are that it fails to satisfy policy grounds set out in the Local Plan and SPD, on visual impact, employment, traffic and compatibility with the identity of the area.

I have grave concerns about this application for the reasons above and have spoken at both the Strategic Planning Committee meeting in November 2024 (where it was resounding rejected) as well as the Planning Inspectorate Appeal hearing in February 2025.  We will await the outcome of the Appeal.
